We are excited to be working on a collaboration short animation and exhibition with Searle Street Post Production. Above is an excerpt from one of the stills I have been working on.
Justin Southey, Bruce Mackay and myself have worked on a short animation with SSPP. The animation is being produced as a teaser video for the opening of our exhibition 'Vast' which will open on Thursday the 17th of November 2011, Block B of The Boulevard office park in Searle Street, Woodstock.

INSPIRED BY///Duane Smith
I recently met Duane for the first time while up in Durban for the 'Broadcasts' exhibition. The exhibition featured paintings by Wesley van Eeden, Christian Mugnai and myself. Pete Reynolds edited and co-directed a beautiful short documentary of our time as artist-in-residence in Finland. Duane Smith documented daily life in Durban, as well as shot a number of portraits for the exhibition.
Duane has a sharp eye for detail, color and composition. It was a great pleasure to work on the mural while Duane shot some photos of our work in progress.

Steven Holl: Museum of Ocean and Surf from ArchDaily on Vimeo.
I came across this project by Steven Holl Architects and Solange Fabiao for the Museum of Ocean and Surf in Biarritz, France.
While in Finland I had the opportunity to visit the Kiasma gallery and exhibition space in Helsinki, also designed by Steven Holl.
His latest project is the Museum of Ocean and Surf, which effortlessly blends the flow and lines of the ocean floor, beaches, tides and waves into a concrete and glass structure.
